This album was recorded at "Jacarandá studio". www.jacarandatrilhas.com   (swiss company) in june of 2023.

The program features the Sonata in G minor by C.P.E Bach and the Sonata BWV 1016 by J. S. Bach, in an exclusive proposal for performing the harpsichord part on the harp. It also presents works of French impressionism, including three pieces by Lili Boulanger  and transcriptions of works by Claude Debussy.

Paola Baron

Italian, Paola Baron is Principal Harpist of Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo and has been member of Osesp – Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo - from 2007 to 2014.

She obtained the Master Degree with highest honours at Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Sarah O’Brien and attended the Post Perfectionament course at the Conservatoire National Supérior de Musique in Lyon with Fabrice Pierre. 

In 2018, she got a PHD in Musicology at São Paulo State University (UNESP), with a Thesis about connections between Luciano Berio and the Brazilian composer Flo Menezes.

She has been Principal Harpist of Teatro Ópera e Ballet in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Orchestra Fondazione Arturo Toscanini (Lorin Maazel cond.), Orchester der Tiroler Festspiele (Gustav Kuhn cond.) and Birmingham Royal Ballet, among others. She performed as soloist and in chamber music groups in Italy, France, Austria and Brazil. 

In 2002 she won the Second Prize at the Victor Salvi Competiton, the most prestigious harp competition in Italy, and in 2007 she won the International Competition of Slovene Harp Association.

In 2023 she released with AzulMusic her first solo album, “Opera”, a collection of fantasies and arrangements on operas arias.

Edgar Leite

Son of a musician, Edgar Leite began his musical studies at the age of eight with his father. In Brazil his teachers were Yoshitame Fukuda, Elisa Fukuda and Pablo de Leon. Bachelor's degree in violin from UNESP, PPC (Professional Performance Certificate) and Master's degree in violin from Lynn University, USA (as a scholarship holder from Fundação VITAE and scholarship granted by Lynn University). In USA he studied with Sergiu Schwarts, Carol Cole, Steve Majeske, Elmar Oliveira and Robert Hanford.
He was a full member of important Brazilian Orchestras such as Experimental de Repertório, Camerata Fukuda, Camerata de Jundiaí, Filarmônica de São Bernardo do Campo, Camerata Bank Boston (Spalla) and OSUSP.

Winner for two consecutive years at chamber music competition at Experimental de Repertório Orchestra.

As a soloist, he performed with the orchestras Municipal de Jundiaí, Sinfônica de Limeira, Camerata Pacto Musical, Orquestra Limiar, Orquestra Capemisa, Camerata Miller and Fukuda Ensemble.
In the United States, he performed extensively in chamber music as first violin in the Jade String Quartet, performing in several cities. He was a member of the ACO (Atlantic Classical Orchestra), Philharmonia Orchestra Lynn University (spalla and head of second violins), Lynn Chamber Orchestra (spalla), Symphony of the Americas and Treasure Coast Opera (head of second violins).
In the USA he worked extensively as a teacher of violin, chamber music and orchestral excerpts at Dreyfoos HighSchool for the Performing Arts, Lynn University Preparatory Department (Florida), Lake County Conservatory (Chicago) and Yours Project (Chicago).
He is currently part of the first violin section of the Symphony Orchestra of the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, professor at Santa Marcelina University, Baccarelli Institute and Duo Arcos.

Duo Arcos is formed by harpist Paola Baron and violinist Edgar Leite, who complete 8 years of active partnership in chamber music. They are members of the São Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra and teachers at FASM (Santa Marcelina University) and Baccarelli Institute in São Paulo (Brazil).

    The album "Autre temps" features the Sonata in G minor by C.P.E Bach and the Sonata BWV 1016 by J. S. Bach, in an exclusive proposal for performing the harpsichord part on the harp. It also presents works of French impressionism, including three pieces by Lili Boulanger and transcriptions of compositions by Claude Debussy. Released in May of 2024 in all digital platforms by AzulMusic, the album “Autre temps” has been leading for weeks global playlists and obtaining a considerable success.
